Growing up on a small farm my mother always made home-made pimento cheese. She was well known throughout the community for her pimento cheese. She always took it to picnics and other social events.
After graduation, I began working in a local hospital. I soon found myself sharing the home-made pimento cheese with others at lunch and began taking it to various events and social functions just like my mother did.
As time passed, I decided to try and sell it at local farmer’s market just to see how it would go. Sales went really well and I ended up obtaining my license shortly thereafter so that it could be sold in stores. Happy to say, it is now being offered for sale in several local stores.
What an honor it is to sell this product because it was my Mom’s recipe and it’s one family tradition that I can share with everyone.
